Port Macdonnell Bayside Festival

Each year over the Adelaide Cup long weekend, the coastal township of Port Macdonnell hosts the Port Macdonnell Bayside Festival.

This festival features live music, activities and competitions as well as market stalls and plenty of food and drink for you to enjoy.

Port Macdonnell Bayside Festival 2020 Dates, Market Times & Location

Head down to the Port Macdonnell for a great day out with heaps to see and do. Known as South Australia’s rock lobster capital, Port Macdonnell is a beautiful location to come and explore.

Come down to the Port Macdonnell Bayside Festival in March and check out some of the live music on offer with local and interstate artists playing some new music as well as some old favourites.

There will be plenty of market stalls for you to explore with food and handcrafted goods available for sale. With plenty of activities and competitions for the kids, it’s a great day out for all! Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a leash.

Port MacDonnell Bayside Festival Fun Run will start at 11am with three male and female categories available: Open, 16 and under (6.8 km loop course) and 12 and under (1.5km course). The run starts and finishes at the Bayside Festival near the western entrance. The entry fee is $2 per person.

After exploring the festival, head down to the beach and take a long walk through this picturesque town. You will discover a beautiful rugged coastline and natural beauty here at Port Macdonnell, so make sure you come for the day and stay for dinner in the evening.

      The fun run starts at 11am. Interested people are invited to register for 3 categories male and female, Open, 16 & under (6.8 km loop course) and 12 & under (1.5km course), starting and finishing in the Bayside Festival near the western entrance. $2.00 entry fee.
