The museum opened its doors to the public in 1990; some of its highlights include the shipwreck museum, an exhibition gallery, and a public gallery. The Admella Discovery Trail is one of the best ways to explore Port MacDonnell. The self-driving trail will take you to several heritage attractions peppered with stunning natural sights. There are 21 maritime-themed markers to help visitors learn more about the attractions.

Germain Reserve is a must-visit for outdoor lovers. Home to colourful and native plant and animal species, all the wildlife that live here have been conserved through the years to ensure that they continue to thrive in the future. Germain Reserve is 55 hectares in size, with lots to explore especially along its tranquil yet scenic boardwalk.

Cape Northumberland stands out among the Port MacDonnell attractions for its dramatic cliffs and breathtaking scenery. It is also home to a historic lighthouse that was established in 1882; from here visitors can enjoy panoramic ocean views particularly at sunset. Come at either dusk or dawn to witness the adorable fairy penguins.

For car enthusiasts, visit Feast’s Private Classic Car Collection and Memorabilia. It features an expansive collection of vintage cars and quirky display. Some highlights here include the 1962 Chrysler Valiant S-series; a rare car that will delight all motor enthusiasts.
