Mount Gambier Christmas Parade 2019 Dates, Times & Location, SA

The Mount Gambier Christmas Parade is always held on the 3rd Saturday of November. In 2018, this means that the parade will be held on the 17th of November.

The parade is a hugely popular event in Mount Gambier and many local schools and groups take part in the parade by creating colourful floats which are judged in a number of categories on creativity and effort.

The Blue Lake Brass Band festival also takes part in the parade with a huge procession of live music from these groups which entertain the crowds year after year.

The parade last for around 1 hour, so is suitable for little kids as well. So make sure to come down to the City of Mount Gambier and get into the Christmas spirit with this fun community event.

There is plenty of accommodation located in and around Mount Gambier, as well as many beautiful natural attractions including the Blue Lake, Umpherston Sinkhole and Engelbrecht Cave. So make a whole day of it and explore all the attractions that Mount Gambier has to offer!

    • Hi Kerry,

Unfortunately, event information for the parade really doesn’t come out until the months before the event is due to occur.

Since this year’s event is yet to occur, there looks to be no information released yet for next year’s event.

By memory, the 2018 and 2019 events were held on very similar dates, so it would be worth keeping that in mind for any plans and just checking back next year.

      Thanks
      Michael
