Held in Millicent each year, the Geltwood Festival is a great way to spend a day out with the whole family!

During the festival, there will be over 250 quilts on show in many of the shop windows in Millicent, as well as the Millicent Visitor Information Centre and Ant’s Redgum Gallery.
The Geltwood Festival Opening Night is generally held on the Friday between 6.30pm – 8.30pm at the Millicent Gallery. The popular Geltwood Market typically runs along George Street in Millicent between 10am – 2pm on Sunday. Here, you will find local fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts, hand made goods and there will be plenty of live music and performances on the day.
There will also be film nights, murder mystery tours, floral arts and displays and plenty of demonstrations by skilled experts. There will also be heaps of craft workshops for those wanting to learn or hone a skill including mosaic, weaving and quilting.
So come on down to the Geltwood Festival in Millicent and have a great day out with the whole family!
have been unable to find what classes will be conducted over the Geltwood weekend – by word of mouth I understand Kerry Hurst is conducting a class (I have spoken to her) also a crocheting class is there anything else? My contact is: [email protected]
Thank you in anticipation.
Hi Heather,
I have looked through the official website and it appears that some details have been released.
You can find a list of the craft workshops at https://www.geltwoodfestival.com/gallery and a list of events & exhibitions at
https://www.geltwoodfestival.com/events.
I have looked at both pages and unfortunately, there are no mentions of who are taking the classes.
Thanks
Michael
