Due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout Australia and the resulting restrictions imposed by the Federal and State governments, Mount Gambier Catholic Parish has been temporarily closed until further notice. We will keep you up to date any developments and please stay safe.
Built in the 1800s, the church was established in the region where the famous Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop begun her work with Father Julian Tenison Woods to spread Catholic education.

The parish community also helps with pastoral care for the sick and elderly, the Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults, liturgy, catering, and the St. Paul’s Indoor Bowls Club.
Should you need assistance from the church, please feel free to get in touch with them. St. Paul’s Hall, just beside the church, is a venue for community and social gatherings, as well as occasional meetings. It’s also where the Monday school is held.
