Banks Thargo Wines is one of the smallest wineries in Coonawarra, producing a variety of red and white wines. Even today, Banks Thargo is owned and operated by the Kidman family. For three generations, this family has been involved in winemaking, with Jonathan Kidman the present viticulturist.

Banks Thargo is consistently producing a variety of quality wines and when you taste them, you can make out the strong varietal flavours of each variety, each of their wines showcasing intense colour, complex flavour and authentic aroma. If you taste their famous aged wines, you get a hint of oak aroma and a nice creamy texture. Such wines are perfect to combine with a seafood platter or dish. Alternatively, they can also be enjoyed on their own.

Banks Thargo is a popular producer of cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay and merlot. Banks Thargo Wines also create a variety of fruit wines with melon, citrus and other floral and tropical fruit flavoured wines.
